Due to strong growth and expansion plans across the region, a global financial trading software vendor is looking to expand their client facing business analysis team.
Primary purpose of this role is to be the interface between Front Office traders/users, client's technology teams and internal development division. The type of products being deployed are Front-Office Order Management systems, interacting mainly with the Sydney Futures Exchange and overseas markets including derivatives exchanges across Asia. FIX inbound connectivity, middle office and trade allocations/confirmations are also key in this role.
Key requirements and tasks:
- Capture and analyse client requirements and issues, and gain understanding of interfaces to be built
- Document spec in detail, so that development teams can easily read and understand
- Perform functional and technical testing of software
- Ensure client readiness, to go live with the system implementation
- Support client throughout handover, go-live stage
- Track any issues and ensure they resolved on time
- Produce and maintain clear, detailed training documentation
- Provide product demonstrations when required
Experience required:
- 5 years BA experience in listed Derivatives
- Knowledge of Australian Stock Exchange
- Front Office technology support experience
- Strong communication skills
- Sound analytical and documentation skills
- Strong time management skills, self starter and can manage own time
