Business Analyst – Global Asset Manager recruitment
My client is a major global Asset Manager and they are looking for a talented Transfer Agency Business Analyst to join their team in London. You will work on a variety of Data and Application projects within their Retail and Institutional division.
Responsibilities:
• Requirements gathering from global Retail/Institutional teams
• Business process re-engineering
• Solution definition and functional specification
• Plan, document and conduct testing of new solutions
• Provide training for internal and external clients
• Work and coordinate effort with colleagues in UK and Europe, US and Asia Pacific as part of a global team
• Coordination of activities in multiple teams
Required:
Essential
- Comprehensive analysis experience in a leading asset management firm
- An analyst’s skill set including BPR, requirements definition and testing backed up by a successful track record of delivering small to medium sized projects
- Basic project management skills of planning and coordination
Desired
- An understanding of Unit Trusts, OEICs and the regulatory framework governing mutual fund structures both for Institutional and Retail products
- An understanding of Transfer Agent and Fund Accounting platforms and functions
- An understanding of data modelling
