Primary Focus:
Leading energy retailer has an immediate need for a Business Analyst in the Change Management team. The Business Analyst will work closely with Business Stakeholders, Project Delivery (Project Managers), Development, QA, Business Technical Readiness and Operations. The ideal candidate will build effective working relationships with key individuals in all departments and different operational areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
· Communicate effectively with business and operational users to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management and IS.
· Serve as the liaison between the business units, technology teams (IS and QA) and business readiness teams.
· Define and create processes and all corresponding process documentation, including process maps/flows, business rules and policy.
· Research, evaluate and analyze information gathered from multiple sources to document business requirements and recommend solutions.
· Support Business and Operations participation and cooperation during systems deployment projects and provide post implementation support to users.
· Support the creation of desktop procedures/job aides and training materials.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor degree in Business or Information Technology or equivalent experience required
· 2+ years of relevant work experience
· Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers and subject matter experts
· Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, including coaching, facilitating and presentation skills
· Strong analytical and basic project methodology skills with the ability to translate technical issues in a non-technical manner
· Proficient in Visio and Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
