Johnson Johnson IT Corporate Systems, Law Government Affairs Group, is recruiting for a Business Analyst to partner with JJ Government Affair Policy. This position is based in New Brunswick, NJ.

This Technical Lead position will own the overall Business Unit IT relationship with JJ Government Affair Policy. It will provide strategic leadership for the IT strategic plan for this business area and will lead projects and provide technical direction for executing on that plan. This role is be responsible for partnering across the JJ IT organization and with process owners to champion efforts to drive innovation and progress on system improvements.

In addition, as part of the Business Unit IT team that supports the JJ Law Department, this position will have an opportunity to participate in the enterprise-wide processes that support Johnson Johnson's legal practices.
The following tasks are part of the Business Analyst's responsibility:

Partner with business clients to use technology as an enabler to improve, automate, simplify business processes and optimize total cost of ownership. Drive business process improvements and champion change management with the business partner community. Develop and maintain a rolling 18-month strategic roadmap.

Function as a technology leader and ensure business partners are aware of new and emerging technologies. Conduct research on current processes and best practices, including benchmarking with other companies and external partners. Ensure SLA's are being met. Continuously manage business partner expectations.
Consistently demonstrate intellectual curiosity and knowledge sharing across IT in the performance of daily work.

Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Information Management or related field is strongly preferred, or relevant experience is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Strategic and analytical thinking with very strong problem solving abilities is required. Able to work independently and on team projects, understand the relationship between technology business, and translate business requirements into viable project solutions is required. Experience with legal and/or compliance technology is a plus.
