Business Analyst – IFRS recruitment

You will be responsible for engaging with all lines of businesses impacted to perform detailed assessments, GAP analysis and document business requirements for the comparatative adjustment tool and any other technical requirements that impact the other standards such as systems changes required to support any new /changing disclosure requirements.

Essential Skills:

• High level of accounting experience particularly in respect of financial reporting.

• Strong business analysis and technical analysis skills, the ability to capture the difference between the current state and the desired state in a robust business requirements document.

• Ability to influence change, particularly with respect to the processes which support financial reporting disclosures.

• High level of investment banking experience particularly a strong understanding of the group consolidation process and accounting terminology.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills. Comfortable with hosting workshops with multiple global groups and driving consensus.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Flexible and adaptable (role will involve supporting other IFRS workstreams as they evolve)

• Fair Value, new disclosures, policies, requirements gathering Gaap analysis

• Consolidation, SPV's, review entities, month end understanding.

Experience Required:

• Proven track record of having developed high quality impact assessments, GAP analysis, and business requirement documents.

• Investment banking, Finance: accounting/ regulatory projects. 

• Banking Accounting Policy experience desirable.
