Position Summary

As part of the IMS APAC Change Management team, the Change Management Business Analyst acts as the primary change agent for both internal and external IMS clients. The team is responsible for managing, monitoring and delivering change requests/projects for existing clients.

Major Responsibilities

Operational Responsibilities

Ensure all client change requests are logged and assessed in a timely and satisfactory manner
Gathering information/requirements regarding the implementation of projects from stakeholders
Analyse information to determine business risks and recommend solutions
Develop plans to achieve the requirements of the project. Ensure these plans are updated and progress tracked against the original baseline.
Complete ongoing process improvement and change management activities, ensuring they are delivered within timescale, cost and quality constraints
Establish strong working relationships with the client's business and IT representatives.
Establish strong working relationships, with various State Street teams, including the Relationship Management, Client Services, Operations, IT, Shared Services and Performance Analytics teams
Ensure all change management services are delivered in accordance with the Change Management Framework and Standard Operating Procedures
Take accountability for ensuring business and process impact of IT programs is understood, clearly communicated and linked to change management activity
Provide regular updates and feedback as regards the progression of the various activities to stakeholders and the APAC Change Management Manager
Exercise sound business judgement, decision making, courses of action and proactive problem solving to achieve project outcomes.
Ensure resistance to change is minimised and employee engagement is maximised
Participate in weekly change management meetings with the business

Support the development of a 'best practice' Change Management model across IMS Asia Pacific

Education and Skills

Proven track record in a change management/project environment, with a minimum 5 years process improvement/business analysis experience
Tertiary qualification in Business/Information Technology or a related discipline is preferred but not essential
Excellent understanding of the international investment management industry, with a minimum 5 years industry experience
Experience implementing large scale organisational scale within a multi-national organisation
Good understanding of Investment Manager Operations, particularly around processes and key deliverables
Proven ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure
