Business Analyst – Insurance recruitment

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading national insurance firm based in their Brisbane office. Joining their team as a Business Analyst, this role will have an emphasis on data analysis and reporting and require the individual to gather and document data and translate your findings in plain business language.

This position will associate with stakeholders to gain a thorough understanding of business information requirements and additional responsibilities will include;

• Interview stakeholders and compile user requirements to convey to Report Authors

• Manage and deliver quality and accurate standard and ad-hoc reports according to schedule

• Prepare and deliver presentations with recommendations based on research as required

• Stay up to date with relevant legislation and industry developments

• Contribute to team projects

• Contribute to workshops as required through researching, formulating and implementing experimental and new procedures

To be successful in this role the candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in IT or Business, together with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and have proven analytical skills. Proficiency in the Microsoft suite and the ability to adjust in a changing technology and software environment is essential. It would also be advantageous to have experience in the insurance industry.
