Client facing Business Analysis / Consultant role
Newly created role with a well known Investment Banking Trading systems provider. Working closely with Project Management and Integration teams, The primary responsibilities of this Business Analysis role is to extract, capture and analyse client requirements, create specifications, and ensure the delivery of the agreed solutions are in line the clients needs. You will play a key role throughout the implementation/roll-out of this award winning product, often being the key point of contact with the client.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Use your expert understanding of the Equity Derivatives trading to ensure client requirements are effectively managed
- Occasionally provide presentations to potential clients and internal teams of systems functions and capabilities
- Analyse complex client requirements and produce specifications for build teams
- Analyse systems enhancements, agree on solutions and document functional specs
- Analyse interfaces to third party and in-house systems
- Produce and maintain training documentation and materials
- Ensure that the client is prepared to use the systems, provide end user training
- Ensure clients are optimising full functions of the platform
- Provide pre-sales demonstrations
- Assist with client UAT phases
- Provide onsite support throughout roll-out when required
Key requirements of the role:
- Proven Business Analysis experience within an Investment Bank
- Knowledge of Front Middle and Back technologies, processes and trade flow-throughs
- Prepare error free and concise documentation, demonstrating an eye for detail
- Create and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams
- Must have a good understanding of the Australian stock exchange
- Strong communication skills - Ability to engage at different levels
- Strong time management skills
- Capable trouble shooter and problem solver
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Strong trading systems experience - Calypso, Murex, Fidessa, Ion, Wall Street Systems, Algo etc
