Business Analyst – Investment Operations Outsourcing recruitment

The IOO Implementations Team works closely with clients, GFS PMO, Worldwide Technology, Operations and consulting partners and is responsible for program management, project management and business process analysis across all new client on-boarding initiatives.

This is an exciting and rapidly growing area of the business with a large pipeline of activity.

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our team with the following responsibilities;

1. Support the definition and agreement of project scope with internal and external stakeholders
2. Support the development of the overall project and workstream plans from initiation through migration
3. Provide timely and accurate status updates to project manager for all assigned tasks
4. Analyze and document client’s current state operating model
5. Analyze and document gaps between client’s current state and NT’s standard service model
6. Prepare high-level and detailed business requirement documents to support process and technology development
7. Ensure gaps and requirements are communicated and well understood by operations and technology partners
8. Support the smooth transition from project to business as usual

We anticipate the successful candidate will possess the following skills/experience;

1. Working knowledge of the investment management middle office including core functions, processes and systems
2. Demonstrated success supporting investment management front or middle office implementation projects including investment operations outsourcing, portfolio accounting, order management, data management, reporting and analytics
3. Extensive experience analyzing and documenting current state process and technology models
4. Extensive experience conducting and documenting process and functional gap analysis
5. Proven track record of success working in a fast-paced environment with challenging deadlines, multiple priorities and limited resources
6. Proven ability to analyze and document business requirements to support the development of process and technology solutions
7. Demonstrated ability to quickly establish credibility and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

8. Extensive experience working with various project management and/or software development methodologies
9. Highly proficient with MS Office, Visio and Sharepoint
