Business Analyst IT Corporate Accounting

The opportunity
Working as part of a team of business analysts, you'll be responsible for the business aspects of global IT projects.
You'll focus on financial accounting business architecture applications used in group and local reporting to standards like US GAAP, statutory reporting, economic value management and Solvency II.
While you'll mainly be involved in the design, development, testing and roll-out of new components, as well as supporting operative processes, you'll also take part in change management initiatives within the international user community and potentially own sub-projects to manage independently.
You'll be expected to communicate regularly with users and various decision-makers.
About you
You have a university degree or higher professional education (accounting, finance, data processing), or else you have relevant experience, perhaps as a business analyst. You're familiar with MS Office, especially MS Excel, with SQL, VBA and Access knowledge advantageous. Knowledge of accounting and finance preferred. Along with your hands-on testing and implementation skills, you're a quick learner with a flair for conceptual thinking. While you enjoy working on your own, using your powerful analytical and problem-solving abilities, you're happy to work as part of a close-knit team. Your English and German are both excellent.
