Business Analyst – IT Developer recruitment
Looking for an experienced and dynamic team member to join the Risk Methodology division of a major banking organisation based in Basel.
The role involves:
• Customize package business applications and develop small/medium size business applications, tools and interfaces
• Analyse, define and document business processes and maintain Risk Control operating procedures
• Support the business area in implementing and maintaining business user and Risk
• Control applications, including training of staff
• Guide and assist users with the development of business
tools and small applications
Skills and experience required:
• Good university degree ideally with an IT focus
• Solid expertise in the writing of business and technical specifications.
• Thorough knowledge of an object-oriented programming language (preferably C#, .net WCF) complemented by relational database programming skills (Oracle, SQL).
Knowledge of C# WPF would be an asset.
• Experienced in designing, specifying and implementing IT systems / architecture (n-tier, service-based), incl. project management.
• Skilled in developing interfaces using XML messages.
• Experience in designing and running test plans to ensure software quality an advantage.
• Knowledge of Findur from OpenLink would be a strong
asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good
team worker, multicultural sensitivity, proven client
orientation.
• Proficient written and oral English. Other major world languages a plus.
• Relevant working experience in an IT application development function.
• Previous exposure to risk management / control would be
an asset.
