Business Analyst, IT, Finance, Commercial Banking
Technical Business Analyst required to work within the niche IT team within the Finance IT Department of a leading bank. Your will be responsible for creating delivering all functional aspects of high end BI solutions projects. You will have the ability not only to undertake the technical aspect of the position, but also to have the confidence and the soft skills required for the analysis aspect; speaking to the business defining requirements.
Therefore you must have solid experience in requirement gathering from business stakeholders external clients with a certification in business analysis. Once the requirements have been defined, you will take ownership of the project up to delivery point. You will form the primary bridge between Business Users and the Finance IT team as well as units outside Finance.
Essential:
- Solid experience in data and requirement analysis , documentation and testing
- Proven Business Analyst problem solving skills within the Financial Banking sector with ability to produce documentation of requirements to a very high standard
- Working with Business Users and the Finance IT team as well as units outside Finance
- Conduct workshops, co-ordinate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into process maps, business requirement specification etc for the technical team
- Developing requirements, building functional specifications in order to enable Finance IT to define target architecture on which applications can be interfaced and built.
