This is a role supporting the evolution of security and product data within a Tier 1 investment bank globally. The principal function of the role is core business analysis, with the objective of providing a single high quality source of securities data for use throughout the organization to support front and back office data needs. The successful candidate will have an excellent opportunity to develop a broad knowledge of reference data concepts and needs within a major global financial organisation. You will be responsible for providing authoritative sources of reference data to their clients through implementing state of the art technologies which promote the collection, storage, analysis, and distribution of product, pricing, account and corporate action data
Major areas of focus will include:
- Security Master Central platform; consolidated front to back data service for product and issuer data.
- Legacy platform retirement; integrate functionality from existing security master platforms and conduct analysis to migrate existing clients onto new strategic platform
Essential:
-Strong track record of successful systems delivery resulting from high quality analysis
-Good understanding the business concepts within multiple reference data domains, especially securities and products
-Strong awareness of proprietary security master technologies and other vendor solutions that are relevant to reference data system
-Experience of delivering front to back reference data solutions in investment banking.
