Business Analyst, IT, SQL, Treasury, Investment Bank
Business analyst required to work within the Treasury Liquidity Technology team of a leading investment bank. This team are responsible for delivering a range of system solutions that cover different functions needed for funding optimisation, including; liquidity stress testing, reporting, capital management, collateral optimisation and transfer pricing.
This business analyst will be working on minor works projects within the Liquidity Reporting team ranging from 1 week to 3 month system enhancements / upgrades. They work on a SQL server database and so you must have good data analysis skills as you will be required to manipulate / extract data using SQL. A lot of work that is being delivered at the moment relates to the secured markets so knowledge of repos, reverse repos, bonds, equities or treasury is beneficial.
Essential:
- IT Business Analyst within investment banking
- Good data analysis and SQL skills
- Knowledge of the full SDLC and front-to-back flows
- Knowledge of the secured markets, treasury or liquidity would be beneficial
- Must be able to establish in detail what the current state is, to challenge that and design a quality) future state
- A technical background is desirable
