We are looking for a Business Analyst with a focus around communications on behalf of our client, Fidelity Investments. This position is based in Boston, MA.
Summary
The Communications Business Analyst will perform varied administrative functions to advance the work of the fulfillment group with a combination of business analysis, process design and development, and reporting strategies. This will include analyzing and documenting fulfillment requirements to support the Relationship Strategy 2.0 (RS 2.0) project being implemented to drive “Rep on behalf of” (ROBO) activities. This role will develop a holistic knowledge of the overall short- and long-term requirements for ROBO deployment capabilities to support future development of an automated “cross book” scaleable solution.
The ideal candidate will be adept at interfacing with business users and other stakeholders to assess needs, gather requirements, write functional specs and document processes and workflows. This role will also analyze and propose fulfillment activity report strategies to support RS 2.0 as well as other business projects (Campaign Mgmt, Rep Tool Convergence), drive process improvements, and assist in the creation of technology solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of the overall fulfillment program strategy for Rep- and ROBO- deployed print and email communications.
- Assist in managing RS 2.0 manual deployments of print and email communications.
- Document RS 2.0 / ROBO fulfillment tool requirements, cross-team processes, procedures and best practices.
- Develop a cross-channel fulfillment reporting strategy; provide management and stakeholders with timely, accurate reporting needed to measure program success.
- Manage problem resolution and make adjustments based on needs and learnings.
- Bachelors or equivalent with 5+ years of business analysis experience in a communications environment preferred
- Understanding of fulfillment systems and processes a strong plus.
- Excellent attention to detail in managing data-driven processes
- Excellent organizational, analytical and time management skills. Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Familiarity with Agile and FSDM project management methodologies preferred
- Adept at creative thinking and problem solving, including the ability to interpret and dissect relevant information for consumption by decision-makers.

- This role will be responsible for managing the RS 2.0 deployment volumes for the Pilot launching May 1, 2012 and running over the course of 6 months.
- 40 Reps with average Book size of 500 clients split into 5 marketing “tracks” (5 campaigns per Rep, per month)
- Deployment via print and email (potentially 2 campaigns per mailing)
- Total monthly manual deployment volume = 200 for single channel deployment, 400 for multi channel deployment
