Business Analyst

Client Training Publications department is a dynamic global team that has a great opportunity for a candidate with demonstrated experience in providing financial and metric analysis and will develop and maintain business control reporting that tracks organizational effectiveness and business profit and loss performance. Experience with web technologies preferred but not required (email analytics; SEO/SEM; online content management).

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Implement tracking solutions for global staff to enter their performance metrics/statistics. Prepare and analyze management information spreadsheets and reports; create professional presentations for management; prepare performance activity status reports; produce resource capacity reports; and also work on the fiscal year budgets and forecasts. Ability to see problems/trends in the various statistics and performance metrics, escalating major issues and potential resolution to management. Ability to understand and develop business cases for potential publication related projects.

- This position requires analysis experience in a “corporate environment”; attention to detail and accuracy; demonstrated experience in managing budgets, financial and performance reporting with advanced MS Excel (pivots, macros, conditions, formulas) and PowerPoint proficiency; and demonstrated success in the managing of projects. This position also requires the ability to use sound judgment and professional discretion; a preference to work independently while contributing as part of a team; ability to interpret sensitive situations and manage conflicts; the aptitude to effectively prioritize and multi-task under deadlines; and a high degree of initiative in improving productivity. The successful candidate must establish successful working relationships with all levels of staff and management internally. College level writing and verbal skills are required for this position.
