Business Analyst Job in Houston 77002, Texas Us
Experis, (formerly COMSYS) is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to provide and support gather requirements for an Oracle interface and for a custom management asset management system. The role may require up to 25% travel and is based in Houston.
This person will work closely with the Engineering and Information Technology group to understand and identify the business needs and translate those needs into spec documents for the development team. Candidate will also work closely with development team to ensure the specs are translated into product properly and present the solution to the end users. This person will also be responsible for training, creating training documentation and support.
Requirements:
5-10 years of experience in Information Systems
Project management experience a plus.
Working knowledge of relational databases (Oracle), ability to query either with SQL or query / reporting tools (TOAD, Crystal Reports) is a plus
Travel required, amount will vary based on business needs
Should be open-minded, flexible and be able to adapt to a dynamic environment. Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
