Business Analyst

- Document domestic and international business requirements as required in the project plans. Work on Functional Design documentation to flush out specific details to support the business requirements. Develop additional project documentation to track business processes, workflows and overall system design. Develop reporting plans to meet necessary requirements. Establish and maintain comprehensive data management and configuration for Ariba Buyer (Requisitioning, Receiving and Contract Compliance), Invoicing and Analysis modules. Work on design and configuration with integrated external 3rd party systems including ERP and ASP products. Assist with day to day activities of the various workstreams including configuration, issue resolution and testing. This includes, but is not limited to presenting system designs and demoing the To Be application to domestic and international business groups, working with QA teams to ensure application meets business requirements and working with key stakeholders to ensure UAT meets planned objectives. Work with project team members to prepare and distribute project-related communication and training documents. Qualifications: - 5 or more years of experience with large scale global systems. - Configuration experience to include one or more of the ARIBA core disciplines including Buyer (Requisitioning and Receiving), Invoicing, Analysis, Contract Compliance. - Experience must span multiple ARIBA implementations and/or upgrade projects. - Excellent command of business knowledge and has the ability to solicit input from internal and external sources. Experience in development of project documentation, testing materials and execution, training materials, requirements gathering including downstream and upstream interface requirements and adhering to a project management methodology is a must. (Advanced) - Experience should include integrating with ERP systems, preferably SAP. (Advanced) - Possess strong written and oral communication skills. Have experience and comfort level presenting application designs, to be processes and demoing system to business units. - Must be detail oriented and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve system design issues. Ability to multitask as required. - Advanced in the use of Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Visio, and Access (Advanced) - Reporting and metrics experience preferred. - Work effectively in a team environment. Ability to work with and establish sound working relationships. - Able to work independently with limited direction from supervisor. - Business/domain experience with international implementations is preferred.
