Business Analyst
A dynamic, fast growing brand, my client have already assembled an enviable array of IT talent, but are seeking a high calibre Business Analyst to ensure that all projects meet the business needs, and help the business achieve its goals
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
• Deliver the business requirements to timescales agreed with the Project Manager by planning and then driving the analysis phase of the projects
• Elicit the business requirements using appropriate techniques (interviews, analysis of current systems, competitor analysis, workshops etc.)
• Document clear and concise business requirements to the agreed standard
• Ensure that the full impact of the business change is understood by carrying out structured analysis where necessary (e.g. documenting current and future business processes, data flow diagrams, data models, use cases etc.)
• Ensure the business needs are understood and to ensure that the technical solution delivers the business requirements by supporting the software development teams (internal and external) during the development phases
• Ensure that the business stakeholders are satisfied that the solution meets their needs by planning and managing the User Acceptance Testing phase

Experience
•Essential
o Requirements analysis in a commercial or operational customer facing environment
o Workshop facilitation
o Production of formal requirements documents
o Prototyping solutions using appropriate tools (e.g. html, excel, pen and paper!)
o Project planning (identifying who needs to be involved, taking into account the availability of others, dependencies between tasks etc.)
• Desirable
o Analysis of business requirements in an online e-commerce environment or operational environment
o Knowledge of structured analysis techniques e.g JAD, UML
o Microsoft Project (basic level only)
