Description: This candidate will be part of a scrum team primarily working as the liaison between the customer and development: interpreting business and product requirements into technical requirements, user interface (U) designs and specifications. This is a key role that requires both business and technical excellence. The business analyst's influence is not only documentation, but to follow/track the project through its entire lifecycle.
Responsibilities: Work with the customer to understand the overall business and product requirements. Collect and analyze business requirements and transferring knowledge to the development team. Prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, and functional specification documents. Communicate effectively with external clients and internal teams to deliver product's functional requirements like screen, interface, and GUI designs. Using human factor and gaming design considerations, provide and communicate UI designs to the development team. Coordinating with QA for the identification of acceptance criteria and the design and executing of test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
Under minimal direction, formulate and define systems scope and objectives through user needs and an understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Develop or modify procedures to solve complex problems within information systems. Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and translate into proper system requirement specifications. Provide guidance to less experienced Business System Analysts.
