The company, A world leader in Mining and Resources, A world leader in the produce of Iron Ore is currently seeking a Business Analyst, to work in IM on a major integration project.

 

The Business Analyst will report to the Information and Knowledge Management) Project Manager.

 

It is expected that the Business Analyst will have some knowledge of and prior experience in enterprise content management systems or document management systems.

 

The person/s that will do this role has the following attributes/skills:

 

• At least 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a large organisation, or working on large, complex projects

 

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

 

• Ability to quickly build customer relationships

 

• Comfortable interacting with multiple stakeholders

 

• Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

 

• Pro-active self-starter - highly self motivated and directed

 

• Success in facilitating and managing conflicting IT requirements

 

• Good understanding of the delivery of infrastructure and application services in a large complex environment

 

• Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment

 

• Tertiary qualification, preferably in IT, or equivalent IT industry experience

• Build strong working relationships with business customers

 

• Pragmatic approach to delivery that evaluates the value to the business of an expedited delivery versus delivery risk

 

• Manage business user expectations as to the delivery of services

 

• Provide regular updates to the Project Program Managers and where appropriate to the business customers on the status of IM services offered

 

• Communications supporting change is provided

 

• All deliverable documentation has been completed, updated and accepted
