Job Description: The Transmission Project Management Office is in need of a business analyst. This person will provide support surrounding the creation, implementation, and management of business requirements and solutions for workflows, processes and tools supporting the project management office and its stakeholders. The candidate will participate in the development of tools and processes that increase efficiencies, data integrity, and systems availability. We are looking for a responsive, proactive, and highly engaged individual. Position Requirements: 7+ years of recent experience in requirements definition, process analysis or solution design 5+ years of experience serving in a Business Analyst capacity with an emphasis on enterprise PMO tools, processes and methodologies. Experience with Project Management Process and Systems implementation Demonstrated experience in process re-engineering and business transformation The ideal candidate for this challenging position is a seasoned professional with superb communications skills. Have strong interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills A proven ability to effectively analyze complex business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications and use cases. Experience performing and documenting root cause analysis and recommendation The candidate should have a solid technical foundation, enabling her or him to communicate effective with both development teams and (executive) management. Experience performing ROI analysis and documentation Must demonstrate through past experience the ability to turn abstract concepts and high-level business needs into effective product features and application UI/workflow Ability to work independently within large scale cross-functional project team environment Experience in working with reporting tools and rules engines Highly organized, detail oriented individual Must be able to deal with multiple tasks simultaneously Technical Skills: MS Project MS Office Suite Report Development Process Engineering Additional Requirements: (Highly Desirable) Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Management preferred ITIL certification PMI certification Six Sigma certification Green Belt Position Responsibilities include but not limited to: Translate high level objectives provided by PMO leadership into testable, measurable functional specifications Research and produce key project documents including: Integrated functional requirements Process diagrams Cross functional workflows Project plans Change management plans Facilitate Meetings with both small and larger groups. Analyze and document cross functional workflows Develop use cases, demonstrating how each class of user interacts with each system function Assist with the prioritization of initial feature development and subsequent releases Develop effective user interfaces, addressing human factor design considerations Manage and communicate evolving requirements through complete project life cycle Develop, document, and present detailed enterprise integration plans Manage systems deployments using established project management methodologies We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
