ITSI Gilbane Company is an international Engineering and Environmental Consulting firm based in Walnut Creek, California. Our clients include the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Energy (DOE), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and other Federal, State and Municipal clients.
We are seeking a mid-level Business Analyst for our Walnut Creek, CA corporate office to work on projects and enhancements in support of the company business applicants.
Responsibilities will include:
- Elicit business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques including but not limited to: interviews, document analysis, use cases, scenarios, business process, task and workflow analysis.
- Development and Implementation of training for applications and enhancements (User Guides. Hosted Events. One-on-one's)
- Prioritize and translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications. Coordinate the development of specifications with IT and other business teams to ensure all internal, regulatory and compliance criteria are met.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-directed and results oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize work efforts
- Understanding of human psychology and motivational issues in the workplace
- Basic understanding of business cycles processes and inter- group dynamics. Exposure to Construction Industry, a plus
- Basic understanding of Federal government contracting practices and project execution
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Sharepoint SQL Reporting, exposure to ERP systems
- 5-10 years of work experience in an office setting
