Business Analyst / Junior PM – Banking recruitment

Our client a leading investment bank requires a Business Analyst / Project Manager to mainly working for sizable projects, such as establishing a new branch in the region, as a member of a special task force team set up in their European Operations Division.

You will be required to understand business requirements and create project plan documents. Promote it and report the progress to the management through establishing a framework of control.
The role involves working on various sizable projects within the bank and ensuring their successful completion. The role would be particularly suited to an individual with experience of project management in a banking environment.

The core responsibilities include:
* Using sound understanding of general and local banking business requirements to develop project plans - including the creation of process flow diagrams that cover all aspects of the departments operations.
* Analyse existing systems that the bank has, and perform gap analyses as, and when, required.
* Plan and execute verification tests events.
* Coordinate and supporting end users.
* Liaise with IT staff (and/or external vendors if necessary) appropriately, and establish necessary IT infrastructures. Gather functional and non-functional business requirements from end users and clarify what needs to be delivered.
* Promote the project through effective communication with all relevant parties.

Experience required:
Previous experience of project management - ideally within a banking environment.

Project management skills including schedule and task control and capability of making necessary documents.

Data processing and management skill, knowledge and understanding about operations control in general.
