Business Analyst (Lead, Finance, Banking) recruitment
There is a need for a Business Analyst (Lead, Finance, Banking) to organise a complete change in the process for conducting their requirements gathering and solution designing processes. The Business Analyst (Lead, Finance, Banking) will be bringing about a complete change in the way the department runs, undertaking a significant change in their operations making a significant impact in the process.
The Business Analyst (Lead, Finance, Banking) will be:
• Accountable to senior management for all requirements capture, and the conversion of the requirement in to effective solutions for the department.
• Building a process to manage the complete, accurate gathering of business requirements, and the efficient conversion of requirements in to effective solutions that meet technical and budgetary requirements
• Mentoring and training staff, enabling them to become effective, quality analysts
• Remaining up to date with the latest developments in their area, using this to modernise and increase the effectiveness of the way in which their team works
The essential skills required to perform the Business Analyst (Lead, Finance, Banking) role are:
• The ability to matrix manage teams across multiple sites
• Proven experience in process re-engineering, and change management
• A strong attention to detail, with excellent stakeholder management skills
• Having a strong appreciation of project and portfolio objectives, and an exceptional ability to turn those objectives in to effective deliverables
• Extensive experience in systems and business analysis techniques
• Project management qualification (e.g. Prince 2)
• Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio
This role is a fantastic for an experienced Business Analyst with ambitions to move in to management (such as project management) to gain significant experience; there is an expectation for the role to gain one or more direct reports within the first year, elevating the seniority. The Business analyst will be altering the way in which an essential process in a department runs, providing a real opportunity for the candidate to get noticed.
