Business Analyst Lead – Global IT Project recruitment
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement business process management and business process re-engineering practice
- Communicates and translates requirements effectively between business process areas and supporting departments
- Demonstrates opportunities for best-in-class process management to the process owner
- Provide advice and counsel on business process re-engineering, business process management and business architecture
- Ensure optimal deployment of BPR resources to coach IM groups for pre-pipeline initiatives and prioritised projects
- Collaborate with the Business Units and IM groups to drive business process management
- Performs continuous reviews to align processes (for example, models, goals, expectations) with changing business conditions
- Maintains and shares process knowledge by embracing methods, techniques, notations, standards and best practices derived from the business process architecture team
- Models, simulates and enhances business process diagrams by using a graphic-oriented business process analysis/modelling tool, i.e. Holocentric
- Determines and documents the impact of change and suggests policy, goal and rule changes
- Shows process stakeholders how to identify and solve process challenges through simulation of different scenarios, analysis of performance metrics and advanced optimization techniques
- Ensures proper coordination between the IM group and process owners by defining conceptual and contextual levels of detail in the business process models
- Keep abreast of the latest development methodology, plan and oversee the introduction of the appropriate development methodology (e.g. agile) to drive improvement in productivity
Job Requirements :
- University Degree in Business, Information Systems or related disciplines
- Minimum 8 years’ solid working experience in the IT industry, with at least 2 years in business process re-engineering
- Proven track record of successful delivery in designing and constructing business processes, sub-processes and their links to automated tasks in IT
- Hands-on experience with process modelling, analysis and simulation tools; experience in Holocentric will be an advantage
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to create original concepts on projects
- Solid experience in BPR and BPM in large service organisation including utilisation of six sigma and Lean is an advantage
- Strong meeting-facilitation skills
- Excellent presentation, communications and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated and strong character
- Good team player and able to work independently
