Business Analyst – Liquidity Risk recruitment
Job Summary
Sciente Consulting is a leading business technology consulting services firm in Singapore. We are looking for a talented Business Analyst to contribute to Liquidity Risk Management project. Project is for a large financial services institution.
Initially, this position is on a 12-month contract basis.
Mandatory Skill-set
Ideal candidate for this role must have the following skill set:
- A minimum of 5 years of practical experience of implementing liquidity risk systems/Technical projects in the financial services industry;
- Must be proficient in gathering requirements from business users and subject matter experts, reviewing business priorities, and/or analyzing options and risks;
- Should be adept in writing and creating detailed business and functional requirements;
- Possess good knowledge on banking and treasury products;
- Excellent understanding of Liquidity Risk and measurement (e.g. MCO, Liquidity Stress);
- Worked across the complete spectrum of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle);
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office tools and data base concepts;
- Should be able to work on own initiative, drive requirements to a successful conclusion in a timely manner.
Desired Skill-set
- Understanding of Basel III (Liquidity Coverage Ratio, Net Stable Funding Ratio) would be an added advantage;
- Knowledge of logical data and process modeling;
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Will act as a liaison between Risk Infrastructure, IT and Market Risk Liquidity;
- Will be responsible for analyzing and documenting business requirements and produce detailed business requirement and functional specifications;
- Provide technical and functional support throughout the project lifecycle;
- Engage in projects related to data sourcing, participation in user acceptance testing, reconciliations, and resolving current data integrity issues;
- Drive the complete UAT co-ordination with business users;
- Partner with business to ensure signoff on all requirements, testing and implementation.
