Business Analyst – Liquidity – Treasury – Tier 1 Investment Bank recruitment
The main functions of Treasury and hot topic is liquidity and liquidity risk. The Business Analyst will also be looking at funding and issuance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the I.T systems, with data warehouse serving the liquidity requirements with data and data warehouses issuance.
Core requirements
• The BA will be working on the liquidity side.
• Will need domain knowledge of treasury and finance technology from an Investment Bank.
• They are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to hit the ground running and add value from day one, emphasis on a Business Analyst with a number of years experience.
• Ideally the manager needs someone from a technical background.
• There will be an element covering general analysis and they need someone with good stakeholder management with someone looking to move into agile.
• If someone has agile experience that would be a good match as the manager comes from an agile development background.
• You will be working with clients right from the start as well as the development teams supporting the guys in UAT. You will also be working with architects to meet requirements.
Specific projects
• A number of liquidity projects one is liquidity stress testing and this will be done over the next 6 -12 months
Team
• Dynamic group of 14 people globally
• 4 program managers
• 10 Business Analyst's a mixture of permanent and contractors, looking to bring in a permanent person to decrease the reliance on contractors, one guy based out of Germany.
• You would be working as a lead Business Analyst working with all these BA's globally.
Technical
• SQL Querying
• Reporting and data warehouses would be good.
Key sell
• Liquidity and treasury are two hot topics in the finance space at the moment. They are also looking to work in an agile environment.
• There is a large book of work until 2015.
