Function:
Reporting directly to the FPA Manager, you will have for principal responsabilities:
Planning and reporting:
- Work together with the local finance team and commercial management for preparation and submission of all sales and expense budgets (Plan/UPD/LBEs/LRP)
- Ensure all financial transactions relating to the business are properly reflected in the accounts and are consistent with the generally accepted accounting principles andcompanypolicies
- Organize and produce reporting to the timetable required
- Analyzes and reports on monthly departmental expenses and assess variances to Plan/Update/LBE
- Ensure accurate tie outs from a variety of reporting systems
- Continuously enhance reporting tools Initiate closing process improvements by pro-actively discussing with the different internal departments efficiency increase opportunities
Business support:
- Participate in various meetings in order to provide financial insights to contribute to the affiliat's growth
- Act as financial business partner for the affiliate
- Support ad hoc sales and expense data analysis and reporting, as per management request
- Take ownership of system application and subsequent developments
Profile:
- Master Degree in Finance Administration, Economics
- 2 to 5 years working experience is required, minimum 1 year of related work experience in a multinational environment (Business Accounting or Finance/Planning)
- Fluency in French, Dutch and English
- Comfortable with technology: strong Excel, knowledge in Cognos Hyperion is a plus
- Adaptability: switches quickly from one task to another without losing efficiency Initiative: self-starter, sees easily opportunities and takes charge of those without being prompted
