BUSINESS ANALYST, MI & CREDIT RISK recruitment
IT is at the heart of sustaining business advantage and providing market differentiation. There has been significant investment in leading edge infrastructure and the establishment of a shared services environment to facilitate the implementation of bank wide systems.
An experienced business analyst is now required to join the project team delivering a comprehensive management information capability to the credit risk function of the bank. Reporting to the project manager, the Business Analyst will work closely with the central and local credit risk teams to determine the requirements of the MI system, defining and maintaining a central data model based on the requirements analysis. As well as identifying data gaps and establishing the system configuration changes required to capture missing data, the appointee will determine how the data may be Extracted from the core systems and Transformed and Loaded into the central database. He/she will be involved throughout the software development lifecycle with particular regard to system and user acceptance testing.
On completion of the credit risk project, the Business Analyst will take up a similar role within other management information and Business Objects projects across the bank.
Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, with an ability to change format, content and presentation depending on the audience. As well as excellent analytical and process modelling skills, experience of designing both relational and star schema data models is required. A track record in business analysis, ideally with experience working on MI projects, performing requirements definition, functional design, test script preparation, testing and implementation is needed, along with an understanding of how to successfully manage change into an operational environment.
