Business Analyst, Middle Office Structured Finance recruitment
Key Roles Responsibilities
To support the global Structured Finance business, primarily focused on the Transaction Programme Authorisation (TPA) structured transactions.
To establish an appropriate booking life cycle support model for each Structured Finance TPA transaction.
Work closely with both the Structured Finance Front Office and Product Control Corporate Finance to ensure the bookings downstream activities represents the substance of the structures.
Co-ordinate and work closely with the various operations and support units to ensure effective end to end booking, processing, settlements and reconciliations of the periodic settlements and lifecycle events throughout the tenor of the structures.
Perform a Risk Control function ensuring that the relevant operational risks for all new transactions and subsequent life-cycle events are managed, controlled and mitigated.
Robust data maintenance with constant monitoring of periodic settlements and events.
Produce detailed Transactions Manuals for each structure that documents the roles responsibilities of all relevant parties. Disseminate the Transactions Manuals to the relevant parties to ensure proper control and understanding of each transaction.
Actively support the Aviation Shipping Operating Lease arm by reviewing the bookings coordinating the settlements.
Review the Structured Finance Transportation Finance Operating Lease transactions involving derivatives. Check that the bookings for the various components correspond.
To provide assistance and guidance to the Structured Finance Transportation Finance Pembroke Capital streams when requested.
Participate in evaluating system enhancements, UATs and projects.
Periodic review of BKCSA / Process Maps / DOIs / checklists to ensure complete and accurate recording of process procedure.
Ensure periodic checks / reportings are performed timely, accurately and are complete.
Qualifications Skills
Good working knowledge and experience in Financial Markets Operations, handling trade verifications, settlements reconciliations or related support unit.
Experience in verifying settling Derivatives, Fixed Income Securities and processing structured transactions.
Familiar with the bank's risk management policies and standards.
Good knowledge of SCB Wholesale Bank's structure, business, booking systems and support units.
Strong analytical skills, attention to details with an inquiring mind.
Self-motivated, focused and performance driven candidate who thrive under pressure.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
A team player, dependable with strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
