Purpose of the Job:
To provide analytical support to the Change Management function of the department
This role performs the analysis and embracement of change into the Test and Production services on behalf of our Operations. This is effected usually, by analysis, testing, trialing, training and enforcing good governance on project deployments.

Provide analyst support to the Change Programme
• Work with the Programme/ Project leads to make sure that standards of quality are high with projects such that the Operational acceptance criteria are always met.
• Working with the Change Management lead in the department, provide solid Change Management processes and project guidance to downstream projects.
• Develop mechanisms to measure the successes and failures of deployments in unambiguous reports.
• Once familiarised with our Operational Risk framework, ensure that adequate controls are in place for the deployment of changes into our services.
• As necessary for new changes to our Systems, become ‘expert’ in existing and new functionality, operational processes and our procedures.
• Where necessary, provide training to the Operational users with respect to changes being introduced by project deployments
• When necessary, effect changes to operational procedures and processes to accommodate new changes.

• Work with the Operational Strategy and Change Management Process Engineer to make sure that deployed changes are aligned to the desired process improvements
• Liaise with Operations’ colleagues to elicit requirements for change and represent and negotiate with delivery teams to satisfy delivery.
• Forge a strong working relationship with Risk to ensure a robust interlock and adequate Risk Management principles are embraced.

• Establish a strong working relationship with IT Delivery to ensure that there is always scope to accommodate improvements to business functionality; this should be an ongoing programme.

Qualifications
EssentialDesirable
Degree Level
Degree standard education is preferred, preferably in an IT or business-related degree.
ITIL Certification
Awareness of IT influence on best practise processes is advantageous
Experience required
Strong practical Change Management experience

Recent and extensive experience of working within Financial Services

Strong practical exposure of operational and business analysis

Strong practical experience of Design / Proposal Writing experience

Experienced in creating high quality (both from a grammatical and presentational perspective) MS Word documents.

Exposure to MS Visio and other MS Office products.

Ability to utilise Microsoft Project to produce project plans.
