Business Analyst – Options Trading – Hong Kong recruitment
The Project Management Business Analyst team is currently seeking experienced and capable Business Analysts to join the APAC team.
Working closely with your peers, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with the front, middle back office to identify, understand and document business requirements which will facilitate the smooth and effective implementation of business change.?
As a Business Analyst, the role also encompasses project management of small to large projects and / or management of sub-streams of a given project. More specifically, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Analysis, research and documentation: assess project and business risks and develop mitigation strategies, communicate and present findings, and produce test cases to ensure delivery of objectives;
- Manage client relationships;
- Business consulting continuous improvement: research best practices and identify/assess options for the improved processes/systems/strategies;
- Project management: management of small to large projects, utilising project methodologies appropriately for the project and stakeholders.
Experience required:
- Substantial experience as a business analyst (BA), with relevant tertiary qualifications;
- Exposure to project management of small to large projects, preferably in equity derivatives, including understanding of market making, structured products, risk management and middle/back office functions;
- Understanding of core systems/tools/processes used in Options Market Making Trading;
- Solid Business Analysis skills including process mapping and documentation of business requirements;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to establish effective working relationships with the team and stakeholders;
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to think outside the box and innovate.
