JOB DESCRIPTION

Background

As part of State Street strategic initiative, OTC Derivatives processing of both Middle and Back Offices are being centralized. Derivatives CoE is establishing a Project Management Office (PMO) in Ireland, and this new role is created to support the PMO activities.

Role

•This role is ideal for candidates with some prior experience in OTC Derivatives processing or has had exposure to different Operations team and a project environment.

•Key skills for this role are having excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, coupled with ability to demonstrate initiative.

•Business Analyst reporting:

oAssist with the business analysis to document the operating process model, controls and procedures

oDocumentation of the process flows, identifying key touch points and hand offs

oReview and update procedure documentation, as directed by the Lead Business Analyst

oAssist in business analysis exercises aimed at identifying the optimal target state model

oSupport the centralization testing activities, as directed by the Manager or the Lead Business Analyst

•Project Administration

oMaintain the project issues and risks register for OTCs: follow up on issues risks

oArrange meetings on behalf of the team: responsible for logistics of workshops, meetings and events

oMaintain Project document library for OTCs (under network drive and MS SharePoint)

Specific Qualifications / Skills

•Good all round knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Visio

•Good organiser, and be able to work on one’s own initiative

•Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Previous experience

•At least 4 years working in an Operations environment, ideally at least partly within OTC Derivatives team

•Previous experience of working within a Project environment would be an advantage
