Business Analyst- Product Control recruitment
One of the most well respected investment banks with offices worldwide is seeking an intuitive and experienced Business Analyst to work within Product Control Projects. As a Project Business Analyst you will be part of the Cross- Asset Class projects team which manages a number of interesting and challenging control and efficiency projects in the Product Control space. The role will be split between a number of areas within the team including Business Line Balance Sheet projects, Basel III and management of a mature technology prioritisation. Your duties will include:
* Working with user representatives to determine the business requirements. This must involve a thorough consideration of all implications of these requirements to the business, including the identification of any potential issues or functional omissions
* Fully documenting the analysis carried out, (this may include for example the production of process flows, use cases and scenarios).
* The business analyst must be able to fully explain all diagrams and models to the business representative and end user, ensuring that they match the business requirements
* Working with IT groups to convert requirements into functional requirements
* Identifying analysis and design issues/risks on a timely basis and escalates to the project manager as appropriate
* Assisting in the preparation and execution of UAT, user procedures and training packs
The ideal candidate will be at Analyst level, looking to progress to the AVP level in the next 1-2 years. You will have previous projects experience including requirement gathering and documentation, chairing working groups, liaising with technology and scripting and co-ordinating UAT. Successful candidates will have previous experience in either line Product Control or in a controls focused role within Investment Banking while ACA/CIMA Qualified Accountants will have a distinct advantage.
