Harrington Starr is working with a leading Financial Services IT firm - working in the compliance, reporting surveillance parts of the Financial Services industry. With a top-tier client list including tier 1 investment banks, this role offers the chance to engage with senior professionals from across the space.

Due to continued success growth of their business, they require a FIX Support Engineer to join their fast-paced London office. Basic salary up to £60,000 plus benefits!

Working with cutting edge technology you will provide FIX protocol support across the business, regularly engaging with IT, Operations and business users.

As a FIX Support Engineer, XML, SQL, UNIX you will provide 1st and 2nd line support. You will be working to support FIX issues, supporting financial services firms.

This organisation provides huge exposure to a rapidly changing highly technical work environment, lots of work around FIX protocol including FIX Support, FIX Analysis and general support. In addition to this, my client offers progressive detailed training on both technical business areas.

This requirement is for a highly motivated, excellent communicator with knowledge of:

* Financial Services experience and direct experience of providing FIX Support
* Knowledge of the FIX Protocol (FIX log analysis, message analysis, troubleshooting, on-boarding)
* Knowledge of UNIX, XML, SQL
* Knowledge of Scripting (perl / BASH)
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

You will bring a mix of technical business knowledge and skills in FIX Protocol FIX Support.
