Business Analyst / Project Manager
Position Description:
- Partner with business owners and stakeholders to agree project objectives. Manage companywide projects across the entire project lifecycle. Ability to manage business change and MA type projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Clearing and Risk together with related systems.
- Take the lead in new product launch and the associated legal, regulatory and system requirements related to this.
- Provide key project management deliverables for each project. Responsible for scheduling, resource allocation, communication and delivery of projects. Create comprehensive, realistic and achievable project plans.
- Ensure the formal review and signoff process are in place on all critical project artefacts.
- Identify evaluate and resolve risks, issues and critical impediments to the project delivery.
- Evaluate and communicate accurate status on projects to stakeholders, Senior Management and PMO. Responsible for delivering of weekly project reporting on the overall progress of each individual project managed; resource availability, and project budgets. Experience of business case development and benefits tracking.
- Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple projects independently, professionally, and successfully. Work closely with the various teams and business units to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects to time and budget.
- Responsible for producing post-delivery project reviews to ensure ROI assessment is being obtained effectively and feeding project learning’s back to the various business and project units.
- Acquire and maintain internal and external industry relationships and contacts.
- Managed budgets up to GBP5m.

- Proven ability to support implemented processes and ensure project teams and customers adhere to these.
- Proven ability to work effectively with senior management.
- Strong proven influencing skills.
- Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Jira, Confluence and SharePoint an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of QA and testing methodologies.
Qualifications Experience
- Prince or PMI qualified.
- 5+ years of detailed project management experience with accountability for delivering complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Demonstrates exceptional knowledge of project management methodologies, processes and tools. Responsible for reinforcing and promoting to the business the project management methodology.
- Listed or OTC Derivatives industry experience desired. Exposure to Options markets and knowledge of FX Commodities (Metals, Softs and Energy markets)
- Exposure to Front End trading technologies and systems.
- Exposure to exchanges and central counterparty clearing strongly preferred.
