Role profile

This role sits in the Business Project Management (BPM) team within the Corporate Technology Services division.

The BPM team provides project management and business analyst services for Corporate projects owned either internally within Technology or by Business Managers.

These projects are technology based, typically revolving around the introduction of new or replacement platforms, products or solutions, and are material in size and complexity. Typical project duration would be 6 to 12 months with the larger projects extending up to 2 years.

The role-holder will be expected to undertake activities in parallel on a portfolio of projects at different stages of their lifecycle.

The role holder will additionally work closely with the Market Operations business team contributing to the ongoing improvements of the Master Data Management System (MDMS) through the control of requirements to the Development team and some functional testing of new releases. They will be expected to become the SME for MDMS, the new Membership Portal and related data sources.

Key responsibilities

? Ensure that requirements are fully captured, clearly documented and signed off;

? Define or contribute to Testing models in relation to the requirements documented;

? Provide/support functional testing and support user acceptance testing where required;

? Through analysis facilitate the identification of related risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies and contribute these to project controls;

? Produce project documentation in accordance with the LSEG Project Management Framework and with reference to the LSEG Project Management Handbook;

? Manage, or update, projects held in Clarity as required;

? Co-ordinate MDMS business requirements through Jira, acting as single point of contact for the developers for confirming functional requirements. Communicate the release plan. Carry out some functional testing and support User Acceptance testing;

? Work closely with project managers and development teams to build up SME experience of specified data sources. Represent the technology team as required where the appropriate SME knowledge is required.
