Business Analyst recruitment

Successful applicants will be hired on contract basis, renewal subjects to performance.

Job Responsibilities:

Analyze project charter and requirements documents to identify potential impacts to Finance processes and systems
Develop a comprehensive, detailed list of Finance requirements to ensure the program addresses all Finance concerns; gain signoff from Finance stakeholders
Advocate for Finance stakeholders' priorities with other project groups
Execute projects end-to-end, including drafting requirements, preparing and executing test plans, and actively participating in deployments
Hands-on testing/validation on behalf of Finance users
Maintain open-issue log; independently drive closure of questions by investigating and understanding issues, and working with stakeholders to agree on solutions
Track project status and provide regular status updates to management
Represent Finance well with Business, Technology, Operations, and Finance stakeholders, by projecting confidence and a high degree of understanding of the project

Job Requirements:

Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; qualified accountant is a plus
At least 5 years' relevant Finance experience within financial institutions
Experience in working on Finance transformation or new-business projects is a strong plus
Excellent communication skills (English), both written and verbal; conversational to fluent Cantonese is a plus
Good time management skills with the ability to intelligently prioritize tasks
Some flexibility in working hours, for example being able to take evening/night calls 1-2 times per week
A proactive team player with the ability to also work independently
Keen learner with drive, enthusiasm and ability to take initiative and resolve problems
Should be PC literate and experienced in MS Office Suite applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
