BUSINESS ANALYST recruitment
The Business Analyst will work as part of a new team that will provide a service both directly or indirectly to clients utilising a new system.
The team will be responsible for providing 2nd line support to clients and operational teams across multiple products.
The team will additionally support on-going BAU change activities for the system providing business analysis, testing support, training, migration support etc.
In addition to the strategic change projects the team will support the on-going product development in conjunction with Product Management by providing input into the product requirements for clients and operational teams.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Client Information Delivery Manager and other project teams (test management, business subject matter experts) in various phases of projects, including documentation.
 - Provide day to day support for internal and external clients – handling of call queries and email queries of a complex nature.
 - Provide route cause analysis, raise and manage enhancement requests to support underlying support issues.
 - Provide single point of ownership for support queries, managing through to problem resolution
Liaise with project team members: IT, Business Operations, Product, Business Project Management, vendors, etc. - Examine techniques in use and determine appropriate changes to effect improvements, reduce costs and enhance efficiency to meet business needs.
 - Involvement in testing cycles, as required.
 - On boarding of new Accounting client funds.
 - On boarding of new Performance Measurement and Compliance clients.
 - On boarding of new Custody Prime Services clients.
 - On-going support for clients for Office Investor.
 - Provision of training to clients, account management and sales teams either directly or via Webex sessions.
 - Assist with quality standards and adherence to best practices as identified in the project scope.
 - Support of various roles in the project lifecycle, through to implementation.
 - Production of quality analysis reports, proposals and other project documentation.

Core Requirements:
- In depth experience in the Finance and Banking industry environment (i.e., Custodian, brokerage house, hedge fund administrator etc.) with business analysis/support/project management experience.
 - Recognized business analysis/project management qualification.
 - Basic accounting knowledge or background in Fund Accounting (Alternative Traditional)
 - Knowledge of domestic and global custody.
 - Basic knowledge of Prime brokerage service.
 - Proficient in the creation of Process Workflow design diagrams, production of clear/ unambiguous business specifications, development/execution of detailed test plans, training documents and user procedures documents, hence should be proficient in use of MS Office, Project, Visio and Workflow design software viz. iGrafx or similar.
 - Experience working with teams and producing documentation for and experience working with teams where English is not the primary spoken language.
 - Experience of a financial accounting or fund accounting systems, client reporting (valuations, etc.).
 - Experience of supporting E-channels products either in a support capacity or as a Business Analyst.
