Business Analyst recruitment

 

The role involves inputting to the development of the migration strategy, detailed migration planning, definition of business requirements for system enhancements to support the migration and reconciliation process, testing of the migrations process including dry runs and dress rehearsals, identification and management of migration preparation activities such as dress rehearsals.

Key Responsibilities:


•Input to the development of a migration strategy, including definition of technical migration approach, and approach to historical data and archiving, and proposed migration phases
•Support the definition of the end-state operating model / day in the life process
•Complete data mapping between the legacy TA system and our clientsTA system, identify data cleansing requirements and enhancements required to the data migration tool
•Working with the technology vendor, agree the technical migration approach and specify any enhancements required to the data migration tool
•Complete test planning and test execution for any enhancements to the data migration
•Propose a process for data cleansing and co-ordinate the data cleansing process, including identification of resourcing requirements
•Participate in migrations planning sessions with the client

  Qualifications 

•Input to the completion of a detailed migration plan, covering pre, migration weekend and post migration activities
•Partner with all programme workstreams and the external technology vendor(s) to define a migration schedule, ensuring allowance for end to end testing and parallel run activities
•Define the approach for End to End / Model Office testing, prepare, agree and execute detailed test plans
•Partnering with TA BAU Operations, define the approach for parallel run activities, prepare and execute as appropriate
•Communicate effectively with internal technology partners or the vendor in order to investigate reason for issues with a view to resolving the issues in an efficient manner
•Understand the need for personal professional development and become actively involved in setting challenging personal goals and meeting them through continuous learning
•Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions

Knowledge/Experience:
Essential:
-Proven track record of experience in the Transfer Agency business
-Experience of executing large scale Transfer Agency migrations, covering all activities
-Indepth knowledge of at least one market standard Transfer Agency platform
