Business Analyst recruitment

A Business Analyst is needed to support the trade/position (data repository) that services enterprise-wide business functions in Finance. Consultant will act as a liaison between business and technology. The position will be located in the NYC office and sometimes travel to Menlo Park, NJ. The candidate with deal with parallel activities from the business to tech groups. 

Consultant NEEDS to have a strong Finance and Risk Management background in the financial services industry. Will be working independently with many different client users. 

Consultant will be responsible for: collecting and analyzing business requirements; writing functional and technical specifications; providing input to QA for testing of functionality; coordinating data feed related activities with domestic and international business technology groups; and will have daily interaction with system users and app dev team supporting underlying technologyComments Required SkillsConsultant Must Have:
- Strong Finance and Risk Management background (8-10 years exp)
- Strong interpersonal (verbal written) and client service skills 
- Strong knowledge of SQL 
- Proficient in MS Excel 
- Strong knowledge of various investment products, financial accounting, credit risk management, margin, regulatory reporting 
- Stellar understanding of Exchange Traded Derivatives, Clearance Settlement, and GMI 
- Strong experience with sys. design 
- Strong technical Background (app dev. / support) 
- Project Management experience
