Payments Solutions – Business Analyst
To analyse, document and propose solutions for large and complex payment solutions, performing business level process analysis using the accepted tools and methodologies. Undertake the preparation of functional specifications and to assist in the preparation and documentation of the testing required showing that the solution meets the defined requirements.
To work alongside the development teams to provide iterative analysis of the detailed specifications and to provide a link between the business and the development teams.
Payments Experience:
- Looking for high value experience with banks
- Payments experience relates to financial transactions between financial institutions
-Debit/Credit Transfers
-SWIFT Messaging
-RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement)
- Must be client facing – all BAs will be interacting onsite with clients
- Need Candidates who have been fully responsible of BA documentation through complete project development cycle.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collecting, understanding, and transmitting the business requirements for the project, and translating these into functional specifications and detailed test analysis that can be utilized by system technical design staff
- Analyse and document business processes
- Document workflows and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from client on the specifications
- To provide the link between the customer, development team and any third party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle
- To help design and execute the test scenarios and test scripts
- Analysis, preparation and management of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met
- Communicates with business function subject matter experts and management system users to identify business needs and opportunities
- Analyzes and solve problems with integrated technology system software; determines and communicates need for technical analysis.
- Develops and provides structured training classes for system users and ad hoc one on one training and user assistance as required
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Skills / Attributes Required
- Demonstrable evidence of analysing and documenting complex business processes
- Demonstrable experience writing requirements specifications for Information Systems within the payments environment
- A proven track record in Software Development
- End to end experience of the project lifecycle
- Proven experience interacting directly with end users
- Results orientated with good communication and interpersonal skills
