Business Analyst – reference data recruitment
My client, a major investment bank, is looking for a business analyst to join their global reference data team working on a process improvement and regulatory project. A key strategic objective of the project is to centralise and streamline the collection and distribution of data with the bank, and to provide solutions that will reduce the maintenance of reference data.
The Global Reference Data team is responsible for maintaining data relating to trading and research instruments, Client details - including settlement instructions and confirmations, Counterparties - including corporate hierarchies,
The successful applicant will work closely with the regional global client strategy and change manager, global core processing managers and IT.
Main Duties
- Detailed Analysis of Reference Data Processes
- Analysis and Creation of Business Requirements Documentation
- Stakeholder management communications
- Ongoing project management support
- Assist with analysis and creation of Target Operating Models and Procedures
- Aid in the creation of Test Approach and UAT / OAT Scripting and execution
- Detailed Analysis of Reference Data Processes
Experience required
- Financial services based business analysis experience
- Reference data experience in an investment banking context
- Experience working on a Data migration project
- Experience of working in business and technology change projects across both
functional and geographic boundaries
