Business Analyst – revenue analysis recruitment

Based in Paddington

Key Accountabilities:

• To provide a monthly comprehensive analysis of business performance based on variances to budget, identifying any underlying trends with regards to business and revenue drivers. This will involve understanding the interaction between revenues, volumes, macro-economic factors, FX, and Visa Europe’s products customers.

• To support the accurate reporting of revenues within Visa Europe’s PL

• As an SME on revenues, provide analysis for Board papers and other ad hoc pieces of analysis to senior management.

• To co-ordinate and report on new product revenues on a monthly basis. Manage the process of assessing new product submissions.

• To assist in the auditing of revenue based drivers submitted by customers on a quarterly basis, identifying key variances and trends.

• Support detailed preparation of annual budget and 3 year plan through the analysis of revenues, their underlying drivers, and the oversight continuous improvement of system tools

• Delivery of corporate scorecard reporting

• Tracking and interpretation of economic key indicators and other Comparator data

Essential Criteria:

• The post holder is likely to possess CIMA / ACA / ACCA and possess a minimum of 3 years PQE

• The post holder will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent

• Experiemce in MI Reports/Board reports environment ideally on revenues and revenue drivers

• Strong interpersonal skills when dealing with senior managers 

• Strong written / verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Ability to interrogate database systems and ask probing questions to determine information

• Multi currency transaction experience

• Excel / Word / PowerPoint

Desirable Criteria:

• Banking or Telcoms industry experience useful

• Experience of Cognos Hyperion suite of products

• IFRS experience preferred
