Business Analyst, Securities & Wealth Trade Processing recruitment
Within the Securities Wealth programme, the Trade Processing project is established to deliver a key component of an overall buy-side middle office service offering. It will provide a robust, scaleable trade processing solution that is capable of supporting further HSBC buy-side entities such as the Asset Management and Private Bank as well as external clients on a global basis, utilising a consistent service delivery model. The Trade Processing solution will be capable of supporting clients irrespective of their geographic location in a consistent manner, utilising a single global operating model.
This role is to provide business analysis skills to the SW Trade Processing Project, based in London. It includes providing detailed requirements and background on existing processes to the project team, and playing a key role in influencing the design of the proposed solution. To provide support throughout the project life cycle, notably during the testing phases, and to coordinate with the business users globally.
To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:
- Experience in a financial services environment
- Detailed knowledge of the trade confirmation and settlement process, with exposure to Oasys Global and/or CTM
- Knowledge and exposure to one of the market-leading trade processing applications such as Fiserv Tradeflow or Cor-FS Salerio.
- Experience of working in a large, ideally global, project team covering the full project life cycle
- Specific business analysis skills including requirements gathering, workflow definition, data analysis, process definition and procedures documentation
- ‘Hands-on’ testing experience including test scripting, test execution, and support for UAT, including user training
- Prior project experience would be preferred (applying proven methodologies, standards and tools in the preparation of Business Requirements, User Acceptance Testing, and deployments), but is not essential.
- Experience in the transformation of business processes and procedures to a Centre of Excellence (CoE)
