Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst – Equities Market Risk Technology Project, Leading Investment Bank
Introduction: Montash Associates have been engaged by a leading Tier One Investment Bank to assist in the acquisition of a senior Business Analyst to work on the build out of a new strategic platform within the Equities Market Risk domain.
The Responsibilities:
- Provide regular updates to management in technology, middle office front office
- Gathering and documenting Business Requirements and preparation of Functional Specifications - liaising closely with users in Front Office and Middle Office.
- Work with development teams to coordinate build and implement the end product
- Definition of testing strategy, timelines, scripts
- Co-ordination support of UAT executed by business users
- Produce implementation approach, timelines, go-live strategy
- Post go-live support, identifying, tracking and resolving risks and issues.
The Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- SQL (key technical strength for analysing the business logic)
- Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills
- Proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Excellent team-working skills
- Experience of a project life-cycle, including breaking requirements down into technical deliverables and estimating the work required
- Background on large scale projects
- Equity Derivatives knowledge - Desired
- Project Management Experience - Desired
- Previous knowledge of FVP processes - Desired
- Unix - Desired
The Package: Basic Salary up to £120k plus discretionary (uncapped) bonus and full benefits package.
