Business Analyst Solvency II – Based in St Cloud, Paris recruitment

The Role

We actively seek an exceptional and experienced individual to join Moody’s Analytics in our Software Product Management team.  

As Business Analyst, you will report to the product manager. The main focus of this position is to reinforce the product team in charge of our solution for insurance focusing on Solvency2. The candidate will ensure the link between the business side (incl. customers), engineering team and any third party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle.

Here is a non exhaustive list of tasks that the BA should perform:

• Collecting, understanding, and transmitting business and regulatory requirements for Solvency 2 and translating these into functional specifications

• Supporting the Product manager with product rollout and support

* Please note that occasional travel may be required.

Skills/Attributes required:

* Master degree required in Finance (Actuarial is a plus)

* A proven experience in a Solvency 2 related activity (calculation, reporting, other…)

* At least 3years in a related experience

* A proven track record in Software Development in a similar role in the financial services ideally with insurance knowledge and background

* Excellent analytical and mathematical skills

* Rigorous and autonomous

* Demonstrable evidence of analyzing and documenting complex business requirements

* Demonstrable experience writing requirements specifications for Information Systems

* Proven experience interacting directly with end users

* Results orientated and committed

* Good communication and writing skills (English and French)

* SQL programming capability
