Business Analyst, Sub Ledger Implementation, Banking recruitment
My client are a leading investment bank require a business analyst to work within finance change on a global sub ledger implementation project. My client are looking for a strong business analyst who has had experience of working on sub ledger and/or pl implementations. The business analyst will have an in depth understanding of product accounting (for any asset class but ideally cross asset ), so it would be extremely advantageous if the business analyst has come from a product control background or is a qualified accountant. The business analyst will have very detailed knowledge of data feeds, looking at system analyses for front office and back office systems as well as data mapping and working closely with the accounting rules team to understand how data and events affect the accounting process. The business analyst will have worked with a large scale and/or high profile finance change project ideally implementing sub ledger's and/or general ledgers, the business analyst will also be expected to liaise with senior finance management and lead their own work streams.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong business analyst experience within financial services
- Finance Control/Product Control line experience
- Experience of working within financial control projects or product control projects
- Strong system analyst knowledge (ideally working with third party vendors such is Microgen, jrules) - Full trade life cycle and product accounting knowledge
- Accounting Rules experience
