Principal Business Analyst/Team Lead – London – Negotiable
A leading financial software solutions company is looking for an exceptional Principal Business Analyst with in-depth knowledge of the investment banking sector to manage the Business Analyst Team and to provide subject matter expertise on analysis of functional requirements. You will have wide ranging responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Management of the Business Analysis Team.
- Managing the analysis of new MIS; business requirements; the strategic road map for client specific enhancements and translation into product specific designs; detailed requirement definitions and use cases.
- Supporting the development team during the software build process.
- Guidance and review of test plans for new developments and releases.
- Guidance and review high level requirements specifications and functional analysis.
- Guidance and review of product documentation.
- Offering subject matter expertise in investment banking and providing internal training.
- Keeping up to date with current and emerging trends in international banking.
You will need to have outstanding analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to listen, judge and plan accordingly. You will need to have in-depth knowledge of the investment banking and financial sector. Knowledge of Trade Finance and/or Trade and Supply Chain Finance would be a bonus. You will be expected to be client focused with a passion for technology and delivering exceptional solutions and service. There will be the opportunity to travel and you should be willing to spend up to 20% of your time travelling, often on international assignments.
